To carry out the intent of the Dickson City Revitalization Plan, the team at Woodland Design Associates worked with the borough to acquire a property along the Lackawanna River and is developing the park as shown. Using the master plans developed for the site, Woodland Design Associates received more than $500,000 in acquisition and development funding from multiple sources. Individual project elements were requested by the public through open meetings, and by the Borough Council Committee. They include parking, a rain garden, a comfort station, trails, a dog park, a picnic area, access to the river, a bike lane, and a trail connection to Polonia Park.
