Dickson City Borough Council and Lackawanna County Arts and Culture hosts Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Creative Communities Sketch Up event to develop ideas for a future mural as well as a ribbon cutting for Riverfront Park. This fall Borough Council also adopted the Borough’s Strategic Plan which was developed through the National Park Services’ Rivers. Trails, and Conservation Assistance Program with a strong advisory committee that included members from: PA F&BC, PA DCNR, PennDOT, PA DCED, Lackawanna County’s Planning Office, NeighborWorks Northeastern PA, Lehigh Valley Health Network, and many others!

A very special thank you to PA F&BC, PA DCNR, PA American Water, PA DCED, Representative Bridget Kosierowski, and Senator Marty Flynn for assisting and funding these projects over the last several years in an effort to revitalize the beautiful borough of Dickson City!
