Woodland Design Associates was approached by Blue Hill Farms to help plan and layout a dream arboretum for use by locals and visitors alike. The design was built on a blank slate of existing hay fields and adjacent woodland features where gardens and spaces took shape. The final design features a series of spaces, including a Japanese garden, meadow garden for informal exercise, dwarf conifer garden, and fruit tree orchard. Construction has been phased and to date the Japanese Garden is complete. The fruit orchard and exercise meadow are slated for construction in the coming months.
