Woodland Design Associates created the Dickson City Downtown Revitalization Plan in 2015, to encourage recreation and economic benefits. Highlights of the project include connecting a bike lane and the Lackawanna Heritage Trail, the Dickson City Riverfront Park, and multimodal safety. After gathering public input, the plan shifted the focus of the town towards the adjacent Lackawanna River to develop the streetscape. Woodland Design Associates continues to offer grant-writing support with Grant monies for construction of Phase I acquired. Additionally, the Riverfront Park property which features direct access to the river, has been secured.
