Jefferson Township in Lackawanna County had a newly acquired parcel they wanted to use for local recreation. Woodland Design Associates began by assisting them in obtaining a grant to fund a recreational master plan study. The team then developed the plan, evaluated site resources and restraints, and worked with the township supervisors to get public input to determine needs. The project is now underway, beginning with the development of an ADA hiking trail and parking.
