This Site Assessment will specifically provide professional recommendations for older citizens for passive recreation, such as seating and gaming tables, and additional recreational facilities for older children in the form of playground equipment, such as a climbing wall. The assessment also includes professional recommendations for use of the remaining undeveloped area which will consider all age groups.

Woodland Design is working along with Waymart Borough Council to gather public input as part of this assessment. A short nine (9) question survey has been developed and is now available online at the Waymart Borough Council website and at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WaysidePark. The Borough seeks input from the residents of Waymart Borough and neighboring communities.
